Reaching Higher are proud grant holders of the Youth Strategic Investment Fund!  This is a five-year investment in our organisational development to support our strategic growth.

Reaching Higher is grateful to be a long-standing partner of the Jack Petchey Foundation.  We run the Achievement Awards programme each year, and also currently hold a grant under the 2026/27 internship programme.

We have partnered with Croydon HAF for several years to deliver our school holiday provision, offering young people healthier activities and food. 

Reaching Higher currently holds a two-year core grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation, which supports our work across Croydon and the expansion of our impact into its surrounding Boroughs. 

Our WeMove grant from Children In Need supports our Forerunners group of young people to engage in social action, focused on issues they have identified and want to change.

The Shanly Foundation has partnered with Reaching Higher to deliver mentoring activities.

Reaching Higher has partnered with the Rank Foundation for many years. We currently hold a core grant supporting our influencing work, and a grant under the 'Time 2 Shine' internship programme.

Reaching Higher is delighted that for the next seven years we will be working closely with schools, statutory services and community groups across Croydon to embed and refine our Contextual Youth Work approach, centering young people’s voices to ensure that together we serve young people in the most empowering and sustainable way. “This work is funded by Propel Pooled Fund, which is held through the Collaboration Circle on behalf of City Bridge Foundation and The National Lottery Community Fund. Propel is a collaboration of funders powered by London Funders, the membership body for public, private and independent funders in the capital.

Reaching Higher is partnering with the A B Charitable Trust to extend therapeutic support to young people and their parents/guardians in two of our partner schools. This is a pilot aimed at reducing contextual safeguarding risks including the risk of school exclusion.

Through the Local Commissioning Fund, Croydon CVA supports our community-based activities in South Norwood Ward.

We are part of the Mayor’s Fund for London's 'City Shapers' programme, supporting our youth-led social action projects.

With the support of the Henry Smith Foundation we are able to provide leadership and employability activities and mentoring for young people in Croydon.

Through MyEnds 2.0 funding from the Mayor of London's Violence Reduction Unit, Reaching Higher is part of the New Era Croydon consortium led by Croydon Voluntary Action. Working together with a range of partners, this work focuses on reduced violence affecting young people. 

Our grant from R&Co4Generations, the philanthropic foundation of Rothschild & Co, supports our community-based contextual youth work.

Through the 'UpChange' programme, Active Communities Network have supported Reaching Higher to deliver mentoring specifically for girls and young women.

Our 1-year grant from the National Lottery's Community Fund is supporting our Youth Caff project, empowering young people to reduce food waste and grow food in Croydon. Youth Caff is run in partnership with South Norwood Community Kitchen.

We are grateful for the Newby Trust's support in delivering our sports-based activities.
