From a community-led initiative, we have grown into a trusted organisation reaching over 500 young people each week through consistent, contextual programmes and support.
Rooted in Croydon, we combine strong local credibility with an evidence-informed approach that has the potential to influence youth engagement and nationwide.

"This next chapter is not about doing more for the sake of it.
It is about doing better."
Jordan Ignatius, Chief Executive Officer

Contextual Youth Work
A 360, relational and youth-led approach that works with young people across school, community and home, recognising that real change happens when support reflects the contexts shaping their lives.
It builds trust, strengthens safeguarding and gives us a model we can prove locally and influence nationally.
How we do it
See how Reaching Higher is shaping Contextual Youth Work in Croydon by applying evidence-based practice to support partners and organisations in delivering effective strategies.

Participatory Youth Voice
A relational and embedded approach that understands, captures and translates what young people say, do and show into meaningful influence across programmes, strategy and decision-making.
It ensures lived experience shapes our work, strengthens leadership and makes our practice more relevant.
How we do it
-
Youth-centred tools to capture, track and amplify young people's voices across schools, community settings and safeguarding services.
-
Ensure young people's views are heard, recorded, monitored and acted on to improve decisions, practice and accountability.
-
Our Youth Advisory Board to embed young people's lived experiences into organisational and system-wide decision-making.
-
Share best practice, practical tools and workshops to help organisations and practitioners strengthen youth voice and participation.

Wellbeing for Practitioners and Practice
An intentional approach to strengthening the people behind the work, recognising that excellent youth work depends on practitioners who are supported, reflective and equipped to serve young people well. It improves quality, consistency and sustainability, while helping raise standards across the sector.
How we do it
-
We work alongside our school and community partners by providing Contextual Youth Work, Safeguarding Training and Wellbeing Audits.
The Impact
Our Wellbeing Audits help organisations identify strengths and opportunities for improvement with confidence and care. As one school partner shared:
"You completed the audit sensitively and with keen insight, providing nuanced feedback with a deep understanding of how complex organisations work."
