I attend a school for young people with learning difficulties and I’m used to being separated and labelled as “special”. This has been hard for me and I’ve been bullied and picked on because of it.

One of the boys from my school invited me to come and play football with him on Saturday morning. It was run by Reaching Higher and I was shocked when I got there. There were all types of young people and it was the first time I didn’t feel labelled. We just had a good time learning football techniques and having a game.

I’ve made great friends and have lots more confidence.
